RatSoft ("we", "our", or "us") operates the mobile application AniVoca (the "App") and its associated cloud synchronization services (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

Information We Collect We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you:

Google Account Information: When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information authorized by you, including your email address, display name, profile avatar URL, and an internal user identifier. Guest User Data: If you use the App as a guest, a temporary anonymous identifier is assigned to persist your learning progress locally and on our servers. Learning & Vocabulary Data: Customized vocabulary lists, bookmarked favorite words, audio playback preferences, quiz results, and incorrect answer notes that you create within the App. Device and Usage Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, and general telemetry necessary for diagnosing crashes and ensuring stability. Advertising Identifiers (Google AdMob): Non-sensitive identifiers such as the Google Advertising ID (GAID / IDFA) collected automatically by Google Mobile Ads to deliver relevant advertisements (for free-tier users). 2. How We Use Your Information We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To provide, maintain, and synchronize your personal vocabulary items between the AniVoca mobile app and the PC Web Studio. To personalize your spaced-repetition quizzes and manage your incorrect answer notes. To process in-app purchases (e.g., Lifetime No-Ads upgrade) and verify entitlements via the Google Play Billing Library. To serve advertisements to free users through Google AdMob. (Users who purchase the Lifetime No-Ads upgrade or participate in active trial periods are spared from interstitial and/or banner ads). To detect, prevent, and address technical and security issues. 3. Third-Party Service Providers We may employ third-party companies and services to facilitate our App and analyze how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your personal data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose:

Google Sign-In (Google LLC): Used for secure user authentication. Google Privacy Policy Google Mobile Ads / AdMob (Google LLC): Used to deliver banner and interstitial advertisements to free-tier users. Google Ad Policies Google Play In-App Billing (Google LLC): Used to manage digital product purchases securely. We do not collect or store your payment card or banking details. 4. Data Retention and Account Deletion We retain your personal data and vocabulary records only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. You can delete your account directly inside the App by navigating to Profile > Delete Account (계정 탈퇴), or by contacting our support team. Upon confirmation, all your vocabulary groups, quiz records, and personal identifiers will be permanently and irreversibly purged from our database.

Children's Privacy Our Service does not knowingly address anyone under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions to delete such information.
Security of Data The security of your data is important to us. All communication between the AniVoca client application and our servers is protected using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS) encryption.
Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
